ELOPEMENTS

Our venue is designed for full-scale wedding celebrations, and we are not able to accommodate elopements or very small weddings. This ensures that every couple we host can enjoy the full beauty, attention to detail, and seamless service that make a wedding at The Landing Resort & Spa truly unforgettable.

For special gatherings of 20–40 guests, we do offer an Intimate Events Price Guide designed for intimate celebrations without a ceremony. This option allows you to enjoy a thoughtfully curated, full-service experience with dining, drinks, and all the details that make your event memorable—perfect for hosting a meaningful gathering with your closest friends and family.

What role does my Landing representative play in planning my event?

– Our sales manager will act as a menu consultant for all food and beverage selections and detail your Banquet Event Orders

– Our team will work with you to create a floor plan of your venue space, so you can provide seating arrangements

– We will oversee the ceremony and reception room(s) set-up, food preparation, and other hotel operations

– Our sales manager will create an estimate of charges outlining your financial commitments and deposit schedule

The Landing does NOT support in the following areas:

– Our team does not provide wedding coordination services. The Landing requires couples to hire a professional event coordinator.

– Our team will not set up or collect any personal items you bring to The Landing at the conclusion of the reception.

What other services can The Landing Provide for my wedding?

As Lake Tahoe’s premier boutique hotel, The Landing Resort & Spa offers a wide range of specialty services and enhancements to make your experience truly unforgettable. From hosting an intimate rehearsal dinner to arranging a festive post-wedding brunch, our team can tailor every detail to reflect your vision. Guests also enjoy personalized touches, luxury amenities, and a stunning lakeside setting that ensures each celebration feels uniquely yours.

Is there parking for my guests?

Yes! There is complimentary valet parking available for wedding guests. Overnight parking is $30/night.

What are the additional fees I can expect?

A 25% service and gratuity fee is added to every item for all events. This includes your rental fee, food, beverages, and any additional items added to your event.

Weddings are no longer than 5 hours. We allow access to the venue 2 hours prior to your start time for set up. All events must conclude at 10:00pm.

What should I know about my wedding menu?

– The Landing culinary team provides an extensive selection of menus to satisfy any taste or ethnic background and are happy to work with all dietary restrictions.
– The hotel does not permit outside food or beverage except for wedding cake or wine with a corkage fee of $25 per bottle.
– Menu selections are due (30) days prior to your event date, with your final guest count due 2 weeks prior.
– We offer children’s pricing at $25 for buffet or plated selections.
– Vendor meals are available at a discounted rate of $50 per vendor and will be chef’s choice or from your buffet.

Is there a place for couples to get ready for the wedding?

We do not have a designated getting ready space, we typically have couples utilize their guestroom. Please note: if you plan to use a guestroom to get ready for your wedding, it is required to book the room for the night of the wedding and the night before your wedding day.

Am I required to book a room for my wedding?

– Weddings taking place on the Grand Rooftop Terrace are required to book a minimum of 5 guestrooms that surround the terrace. There is a guestroom contract that is provided with further detail on this agreement and will be reviewed with you before booking your wedding.
– Any small events or non-terrace events will not be required to book a guestroom.
– Room blocks are available with a minimum of 5 rooms and offer a discounted rate. Please reach out to our sales department for further inquiries on guestrooms for your event.
