Spring Activities in Lake Tahoe
Waterfalls
Spring is the best time of year to experience Tahoe’s waterfalls at their peak flow.
One of our favorite outings is Van Sickle Waterfall in Van Sickle Bi-State Park. This 2.2-mile round-trip hike gains about 570 feet in elevation and rewards you with beautiful forest scenery, sweeping lake views, and a charming waterfall at the top. Even better, the trailhead is accessible via our complimentary shuttle for added convenience.
Other must-see waterfalls in the area include:
- Cascade Falls
- Glen Alpine Falls
- Eagle Falls
- Fontanillis Lake Falls

- Lam Watah Nature Trail
- Fallen Leaf Lake Trail
- Angora Lakes Trail
- Cave Rock Trail

One of the most accessible options is the disc golf course at Bijou Community Park, perfect for beginners and seasoned players alike.
