What is the difference between a Lakefront King and a Premier King room?

The most notable difference is the view and the size of the rooms. While both rooms are equipped with a fireplace and a balcony or patio, only the Lakefront King guarantees a picture-perfect view of Lake Tahoe. The Premier room is twice the size, includes a jetted bath tub and a nice seating area in front of the larger fireplace.

Q: Are there fire pits anywhere on the property?

The first floor Lakeview Rooms have a private fire pit, and while you’re able to request that room, we’re not able to guarantee a specific room. There are also fire pits on Jimmy’s patio which cannot be specifically reserved and are first come, first serve.

Cancellation Policy

In response to these challenging times we have updated our Cancellation Policy and will allow a full change or cancellation without a charge up to 72 hours prior to arrival unless a non-refundable promotional rate is booked.

Where will your shuttle take us and do we need to schedule it ahead of time?

Anywhere within a 2 mile radius and it operates on a first come-first serve basis.

Do you have a shuttle that will pick us up from the airport?

While we do not, there are a few options. The South Tahoe Airporter is the most economical way and our shuttle can pick you up from the casino where they’ll drop you off. We also partner with a private, professional driver that we’re happy to arrange for you. Taking an Uber from the airport is usually easier than getting an Uber back down to the airport and we recommend arranging for a cab instead, especially for those early morning flights.

Is there a private beach?

Included in our amenities are two passes per day to privately owned Lakeside Beach. This is a semi-private beach just steps away from our property!

Can I check-in to my room early?

Our guaranteed check-in time is 4pm; however, you’re welcome to arrive whenever you would like throughout the day. We’ll do our best to find a room that is ready for you and if not, we can store your luggage and place you on a priority queue. Guests are welcome to enjoy the resort before check-in and will be called when their room is ready.

Can I request a late check out?

Please call down the morning of your departure and our front desk agent would be happy to let you know our availability for a late checkout.

Am I allowed to bring my dog?

All of our rooms are dog friendly and they are allowed almost everywhere on property, including on the shuttle. We just kindly ask that they don’t swim in our pool. The pet fee is $75/night.

All rooms come with a mini fridge, but no microwaves. We have a small handful upon request, but cannot guarantee that one will be available during your stay.

The Landing Resort & Spa provides all food and beverage services for your event, except for wedding cakes which are to be provided by a licensed bakery. Our talented and experienced dining staff can offer complete menu consultations and excellent recommendations to customize your event.
